At ProCompounding Pharmacy, many of our most important medications are prepared in larger production batches that help serve patients across multiple states. Every batch must be prepared accurately, consistently, and according to strict quality standards. We are looking for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician who enjoys precision work, established procedures, and becoming highly skilled at producing consistent results. This role focuses on mastering a defined group of formulations and producing them with exceptional accuracy and reliability. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are new to compounding and ready to learn. Through structured training and mentorship, you will develop the skills needed to prepare customized medications that directly impact patient care. - Prepare larger production batches of designated non-sterile compounded medications
- Follow established formulas, batch records, worksheets, and SOPs with a high level of accuracy
- Measure, weigh, mix, package, label, and document compounded preparations
- Become proficient in a defined group of formulations and production processes
- Perform in-process checks and documentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate and maintain balances, mixers, encapsulation equipment, and other compounding equipment according to procedures
- Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation
- Assist with inventory management of ingredients and production materials
- Complete cleaning, maintenance, and environmental monitoring activities
- Support a clean, organized, and inspection-ready compounding laboratory
- Work closely with pharmacists and supervisors to maintain quality and production efficiency What Success Looks Like

Saturday availability is required as part of the regular schedule. This role may be particularly appealing to individuals who prefer longer workdays in exchange for an additional day off each week. - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic math and calculation abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Dependable attendance and work habits
- Ability to learn technical procedures and apply training consistently
- Willingness to ask questions when uncertain
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Certification Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Tennessee or North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required within 90 days of employment
