Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in our Central Fill pharmacy. This role involves a variety of duties to ensure the accurate and timely preparation and dispensing of medications, utilizing both manual and automated processes Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual data entry, picking, and packing of prescription medications.

Replenish product for filling stations and maintain stock levels.

Operate and run automated sorting and counting equipment.

Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules.

Apply prescription labels accurately to bottles and boxes.

Utilize computer systems to assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication.

Receive and properly store incoming supplies.

Count stock and enter data into the computer to maintain inventory records.

Clean equipment and complete necessary forms as directed.

Assist in stocking shelves and overall inventory management.
Minimum RequirementsEducation/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
License:
Must have a current, valid Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License.
Experience:
Minimum of 1+ years of pharmacy operations experience (
Note:
specific business units may require different years of experience or certification based on state law).Ability to work a 4-day/10-hour shift with potential overtime.
Work Schedule:
4-day, 10-hour shifts with possible overtime.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday. Monday, Thursday, and Friday - 11:00am to 930pm.

Saturday - 8:00am to 6:30pm.
