Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support pharmaceutical operations in a dynamic mail order, renal specialty pharmacy environment serving approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with a possible transition to a permanent role for certified candidates holding the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) credential.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week Immediate start available Responsibilities include: Assisting in either customer service or dispensing capacities In customer service roles, verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system In dispensing roles, accurately filling and dispensing medications without the use of automation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred Familiarity with mail order pharmacy processes is an advantage Ability to work with pharmacy software systems, specifically Wellsky, is beneficial Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills PTCB certification required for consideration for permanent placement
