Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire We're hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 13-week contract with an established mail-order specialty pharmacy located just outside Nashville. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians looking for steady weekday hours, competitive weekly pay, and the potential to transition into a permanent role with a Fortune 500 company!

Responsibilities:

Process prescriptions in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy environment Assist with medication dispensing and prescription fulfillment Verify shipping information and patient demographics Enter and update patient profiles within the pharmacy management system Provide customer service support for pharmacy patients Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily Utilize the WellSky pharmacy system

Requirements:

Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration Pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail-order, specialty, or similar pharmacy setting Experience with pharmacy software systems (WellSky experience is a plus) Strong data entry and customer service skills Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM PTCB certification required for candidates seeking permanent employment Ability to start
