Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A certified pharmacy technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Antioch, TN. This role offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start date. Responsibilities include supporting a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Technicians will work in either customer service or dispensing capacities. Customer service duties involve verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians will be responsible for filling and dispensing medications. Note that the pharmacy does not utilize automation technology.
