Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for two certified Pharmacy Technicians registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy to support a renal specialty mail order pharmacy servicing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position for candidates holding a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 40 hours per week ASAP start

Nashville, TN Responsibilities:
Customer Service Technician duties include verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing Technician duties encompass accurately filling and dispensing medications. Both roles require attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to pharmacy policies. Work in a non-automated environment supporting patient care and prescription accuracy. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy PTCB certification required for permanent placement consideration Prior experience in a retail or mail order pharmacy setting preferred Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively This contract position offers valuable experience in a specialized pharmacy setting with the possibility to convert to a permanent role.
