Position Summary:
•We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician who is bilingual in Spanish to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This position involves supporting our pharmacists in delivering quality pharmaceutical services while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. •
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory. Provide excellent customer service, including answering patient queries and resolving concerns in both English and Spanish. Conduct medication reconciliation and update patient profiles. Operate pharmacy equipment such as cash registers and point-of-sale systems. Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Translate healthcare information and prescriptions between English and Spanish where necessary. Assist in pharmacy audits and quality assurance processes. •
Qualifications:
•Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with pharmacy technology systems and software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure. Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. •
