Sterling Medical is seeking a Full time Pharmacy Technician to support

Monday-Friday. Shifts can be scheduled Monday through Sunday between the hours of 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.Qualifications:

Certificate.Education:
Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) or a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program) or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military.Certification:
Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).Additional Certification:
Contract workers shall maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or other approved certifying body emblem. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by theGovernment Experience:
Possess a minimum of one year experience within the last two years working as a full-time pharmacy technician. Responsible for processing and reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper dosing, while coordinating with pharmacists to resolve any issues. Prepares and labels medications, assists patients with usage instructions, and supports final verification by the pharmacist. Maintains inventory, manages stock levels, and ensures proper storage and security of pharmaceuticals. Performs inspections, supports quality assurance efforts, and completes administrative responsibilities while adhering to all productivity, training, health, and timekeeping requirements.
