Registered Pharmacy Technician Typing Full Job Description Job Description:
Assists pharmacist in the distribution of medication for Inpatient and Outpatient use. Responsibilities include inventory control, narcotic record keeping, TPN calculations and chemotherapeutic medication preparation.
Required Skills:
1. Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills required. 2. Effective oral and written communication skills. 3. Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications. 4. Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures.
Required Experience:

Work Experience:
Previous work experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. B.
License/Registration/Certification:
Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. I.V. Certification completed within 3 months of hire. Annual I.V. Certification C.
Education and Training:
High School graduate or equivalent. Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
