Job Description
Bear's Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a dependable pharmacy technician to become apart of the Bear's family. We are looking for technician that will run our front registers. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers. Responsibilities Greet all customers Check out all customers at the register Perform open, mid-day, and closing duties Fill prescriptions if needed Skills & Requirements 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred but not required Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) license is required Experience with PioneerRX computer system is a plus Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology Excellent communication skills Outstanding organizational skills Reliable with a keen eye for detail Able to lift up to 30lbs and stand for 8 hours
