This position plays a key role in ensuring prescriptions are processed accurately while delivering excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently Enter patient and prescription information into pharmacy systems Provide courteous customer service to patients and healthcare professionals Maintain inventory, stock medications, and monitor expiration dates Handle prescription billing and insurance processing Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Keep pharmacy workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Support daily pharmacy operations and workflow as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Pharmacy Technician certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills and data entry experience Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Skills Customer service experience Knowledge of pharmacy software systems Insurance billing or medical office experience Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic Candidates must pass a background check.
