$25.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience) About the Role Rx relief is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technicians to join a high-volume 503A compounding pharmacy near Plano, TX. Technicians will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile medications. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, non-sterile compounding experience, and an interest in long-term pharmacy growth opportunities. Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounds and medications in a clean room environment
• Follow USP and guidelines for sterile compounding
• Maintain aseptic technique during all stages of preparation
• Perform calculations to ensure accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as laminar flow hoods and autoclaves
• Document all compounding activities and maintain accurate records
• Assist in inventory management of medications and supplies
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure quality and accuracy of compounded medications
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control processes
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Monitor temperature and humidity in clean room and storage areas
• Assist in training new staff members on sterile compounding procedures
• Stay updated on current compounding regulations and best practices
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients as needed
• Participate in continuous education and training programs
• Assist in managing hazardous drug handling and disposal
• Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of compounding equipment
