Pharmacy Technician in Plano, TX RPh on the Go - 4.1 Plano, TX Job Details Temp-to-hire | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Retail pharmacy experience Pharmacy Technician License Pharmacies (work setting) Full Job Description Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Plano, TX, supporting a behavioral health clinic near Hwy 75 and Legacy. This temp-to-perm position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
Responsibilities:
Dispense and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately Perform data entry related to prescriptions and patient information Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels Provide prior authorization support Handle patient phone inquiries and deliver excellent customer service within the clinic setting
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment such as Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens Active and clear Texas Pharmacy Technician license National certification through PTCB or NHA required Strong empathy and communication skills for working with a behavioral health population Spanish-speaking ability is a significant advantage This role requires a fast-paced work style with attention to accuracy and detail. The ability to provide compassionate service is essential given the behavioral health focus of the clinic.
