Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacy operations by preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately Assist pharmacists with medication intake, verification, and medication administration processes Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting patient care initiatives Qualifications Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program or certifying body Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably within LTC pharmacy, hospital, or critical care environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication safety protocols, and aseptic techniques Experience with IV infusion preparation and handling high-acuity medications in acute care settings Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and safety Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
