Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, Manage medication inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper storage according to safety standards Support patient service activities by accurately intake medication orders, verifying prescriptions, and updating patient records Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety procedures during medication administration and medication handling Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions, clarifying instructions, and supporting overall patient service efforts Maintain meticulous documentation of medication preparation, dispensing activities, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and accountability Requirements Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by state law Proven pharmacy technician experience within retail pharmacy, hospital, or acute care environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice and patient care settings Hands-on experience with medication intake processes, medication administration support, and patient service functions Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety Join us in delivering exceptional pharmacy services that enhance patient outcomes!
