Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A healthcare facility in Gordonsville, VA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy operations on a per diem basis. This role involves distributing prescribed medications and providing customers with clear, accurate information about their use, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and authorized practitioners Educate customers on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure patient satisfaction Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and inventory management as needed
Location:
Gordonsville, VA Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Total of 90 hours over two consecutive workweeks
Desired Qualifications:
Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team This per diem opportunity is an excellent fit for pharmacy technicians looking to bring their expertise to a supportive healthcare environment with flexible scheduling.
