Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a growing home infusion service line. This role is based in Midlothian, VA, within a large healthcare system known for its comprehensive network of hospitals and home infusion sites.

Friday, Day Shift Responsibilities:
Prepare intravenous (IV) solutions, total parenteral nutrition (TPNs), and other sterile compounded medications under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. Maintain strict adherence to quality assurance and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. Provide training and mentorship to new pharmacy staff as needed. Engage in clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes. Perform additional sterile compounding and pharmacy technician assignments as directed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in IV/infusion pharmacy technician roles, with a strong preference for home infusion expertise. Inpatient IV experience may be considered. Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician license. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g., PTCB) required. Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
