Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position based in Norfolk, VA, offering per diem work in a retail and long-term care setting. The role involves distributing medications prescribed by healthcare professionals and delivering exceptional customer service by providing accurate medication information.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (specific dates from June 22 through July 29, 2026)
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized practitioners Educate and assist customers regarding proper medication usage and potential side effects Maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure patient satisfaction in a retail/long-term care environment Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient operations and adherence to regulatory guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
