Acute Care Hospital Job Summary Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy acute care hospital. The technician will support pharmacists in medication preparation, sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication dispensing, inventory management, and pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately. Compound sterile and non-sterile medications. Prepare IV admixtures and chemotherapy medications. Perform medication packaging and labeling. Process medication orders and maintain documentation. Utilize Pyxis medication dispensing systems. Follow aseptic technique and pharmacy safety protocols. Support inpatient pharmacy operations and workflow. Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution. Requirements Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician License (Required). CPhT Certification (Required). Minimum 1 year of recent Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience.
Experience with:
Sterile Compounding Non-Sterile Compounding IV Preparation Chemotherapy Preparation Medication Dispensing Systems Aseptic Technique Epic experience preferred. First-time travelers accepted. Facility Information Acute Care Hospital 325
Staffed Beds Epic EMR Patient Population:
Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics Additional Information No Call Required. Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible. BI02
Pay:
$40.00 - $42.00 per hour Application Question(s): Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
