Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Join an established healthcare setting in Seattle, WA, as a Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile and non-sterile compounding, including chemotherapy preparation. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment with a responsive client ready for an ASAP start.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, with a focus on chemotherapy medications Manage and restock Pyxis units efficiently to ensure continuous medication availability Maintain accurate records and adhere to all safety and compliance standards
Schedule:
Days and afternoons 8-hour shifts, providing a balanced workday structure
Qualifications:
Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license Approximately 2 years of recent experience in hospital or intravenous (IV) pharmacy settings, demonstrating competency in sterile compounding and chemo preparation Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict safety protocols This 16-week contract role is ideal for candidates looking to contribute their pharmacy technician expertise in a reputable healthcare facility.
