What You'll Do :
As a Pharmacy Technician , you will play a vital role in helping patients access the medications and care they need. You'll work closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers in a high-volume pharmacy environment that fills approximately 800-1,200 prescriptions daily. Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing Triage patients at the pharmacy window with professionalism and compassion Process new and refill prescriptions (in person, phone, electronic, and fax) Perform pharmaceutical calculations, labeling, counting, pouring, and mixing medications Verify patient information, eligibility, and insurance Troubleshoot third-party billing rejections and complete prior authorizations Maintain pharmaceutical inventory, inspect for outdates, and restock as needed Document stock movement, returns, and destructions Support training of technical staff in billing, inventory control, and prescription production Rotate through all pharmacy work areas to support team workflow Participate in monthly pharmacy meetings and annual required trainings Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards

Requirements Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program Current WA State Pharmacy Technician certification Experience and/or ability to work with electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
