Summary We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Montgomery. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe medication practices and providing exceptional patient care, contributing significantly to our mission of health improvement. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and maintaining compliance with regulations. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients about their medications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Perform IV infusions and ensure aseptic techniques are followed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Support critical care initiatives by providing timely medication administration. Participate in training programs for new pharmacy staff. Qualifications Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Proven experience in LTC pharmacy or hospital settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
