Job Description

Lambert Drug Store is an independent retail pharmacy located in Romney, West Virginia. Lambert Drug Store is growing! We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. Lambert Drug Store is a great place to learn and grow personally and professionally. We are a small team dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and community! Some of our specialties include medication synchronization, Dispill adherence packaging, medication delivery, immunizations, and medicare enrollment assistance.
Certification Requirements:
Pharmacy technicians must be Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT). Job seekers who are not certified may still apply. If offered a position, the employee would be required to enroll in a Certified Pharmacy Technician Program and obtain their Pharmacy Technician Trainee license under the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy (WVBOP) prior to their first day of employment. Background checks will be required for those not currently certified. - Hourly Pay is reflected upon experience and certification status. - Raises and bonuses subject to good performance reviews.
Job Responsibilities:
Arrive on time for shift. Have a positive attitude. Answer phones. Assist walk-ins. Assist customers looking for over-the-counter (OTC) products. Receive and verify prescriptions. Process at minimum 200 prescriptions daily (once fully trained). Process cycle fills daily. Process insurance claims and problem-solve rejections. Take refills on prescriptions from doctor's offices. Accurately count and label medications. Process and assist with adherence packaging. Perform drug recalls (pull, quarantine, and process) Order medication. Check-in, label, and stock inventory. Perform inventory counts. File invoices. File hard copy prescriptions. Pull outdates 3 months out and label 6 months out. Organize and clean shelves. Make labels for medication on shelf. Keep work area clean and organized. Fill supplies - vials, bottles, bags, printer, fax, etc. Assist with the register when needed. Perform Deliveries.
