Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile MA/Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and excellent patient service skills. As a Mobile MA/Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by delivering high-quality specimen collection services. Responsibilities Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in various settings, including homes, clinics, and other facilities. Ensure adherence to laboratory techniques and protocols during the collection process. Maintain accurate records of specimens collected and ensure proper labeling for laboratory processing. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns or questions. Follow all safety guidelines and infection control measures to maintain a sterile environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care as needed. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and laboratory procedures to enhance service quality. Experience Proven experience in blood sampling and phlebotomy is preferred. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory techniques is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and service excellence. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a mobile setting.
