In this energetic role, you will perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling, ensuring accurate specimen collection for laboratory analysis. Your expertise will support diagnostic processes, contribute to patient diagnosis and treatment, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and skin puncture techniques, ensuring minimal discomfort and maximum accuracy Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support patient assessment Maintain strict aseptic techniques during specimen collection to prevent contamination or infection Provide compassionate patient service by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Follow laboratory procedures and safety guidelines diligently to ensure specimen integrity and staff safety Assist with specimen processing, including centrifugation, storage, and transportation to the laboratory for analysis Qualifications Prior experience or training in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings is highly desirable Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and blood sampling methods such as venipuncture is essential Demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy with precision using proper aseptic technique Strong understanding of laboratory techniques related to specimen collection and processing Excellent patient care skills with a focus on providing friendly, professional service in hospital or clinical environments Familiarity with vital signs measurement and basic anatomy knowledge to support accurate sample collection Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering high-quality healthcare services by combining technical expertise with compassionate patient interaction.
