Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Phlebotomy Technician for an assignment in El Cajon. The ideal candidate will have prior laboratory experience and strong proficiency in patient care and medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy procedures in a clinical/laboratory setting Provide quality patient care, including pediatric patients (preferred) Ensure proper labeling, handling, and processing of specimens Maintain compliance with safety and laboratory standards Document procedures accurately and timely
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician in a laboratory setting Pediatric experience preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology High School Diploma or GED required
Certifications Required:
Current California Phlebotomy Certification Current CPR Certification Current BLS for
Healthcare Providers Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Arabic/Chaldean), but not required
