Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in collecting blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe transport to the laboratory. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
Duties:
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
  • Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the safety and integrity of collected specimens
  • Label and properly package specimens for transport to the laboratory
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection
  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or providing basic patient care
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
  • Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
