About the role:

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-qualityplasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, acommitment to customer service and quality is expected. You willreport to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasmadonor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma centeroperations.

How you will contribute:

• You will answer phones, andgreet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donorsand our team.
• You will screen new and repeat donors and take andrecord donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• You will useour Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintainaccurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• You willhelp identify operational opportunities for continuous improvementand initiate changes to center processes using company approvedprocedures.
• You will be there for our donors, which includesworking a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.

What you bring to

Takeda:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Will workevenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop,crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to liftto 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. andrarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, andability to hear equipment from a distance
• Because of potentialexposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasksrequire prolonged glove wear
• 1 or more years minimum experienceworking in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
• Currentlicense or certification in the state where duties will beassigned: Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), CertifiedPhlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist(CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).

Starting Hourly Wage:

$19.50 The starting hourly wagereflects the actual starting rate for this position. The actualhourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or localminimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. basedemployees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
