We are a growing multispecialty medical and surgical practice located near Beverly Hills, dedicated to delivering innovative treatments and patient-centered care. Our clinic specializes in advanced therapies including anti-aging, regenerative medicine, and procedural services. We serve patients of all ages in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment focused on quality, efficiency, and compassionate care.Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Per Diem Phlebotomist who is interested in expanding their clinical skillset into a Medical Assistant (MA) role. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, as-needed work with opportunities for hands-on training and professional growth. The candidate will play a key role in specimen collection, patient care, and supporting daily clinical operations.Specialty Areas Include:
Anti-aging & body enhancement (PRP & Stem Cell therapies) Men's health & urology Circumcision procedures Joint pain injections Urgent care services (including COVID testing) Potential expansion into cosmetics and general medicine Schedule (Per Diem / As Needed): Coverage primarily on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Additional shifts based on clinic needs and growth Occasional early morning shifts (7:00-8:30 AM) a few times per month Potential for local travel or off-site assignmentsKey Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with accuracy and adherence to aseptic techniques Collect, label, and process specimens in accordance with established protocols Obtain vital signs and assist with patient intake as part of MA cross-training Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and biohazard handling procedures Assist with specimen processing (centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparation for lab analysis) Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing concerns Support clinical staff with back-office duties as training progressesQualifications:
Phlebotomy certification (required) Willingness to be trained as a Medical Assistant (MA) Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen handling Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory safety practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic computer and EMR documentation proficiencyWhat We Offer:
