In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing blood draws, specimen collection, and processing, while also assisting with clinical procedures and patient services. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure smooth laboratory operations and a positive patient experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic medical environment, supporting both diagnostic testing and patient care initiatives. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture using proper aseptic techniques and physiology knowledge Prepare and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support patient assessments Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, including patient examinations and medical documentation Maintain a clean, organized work environment following infection control protocols and laboratory procedures Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and ensuring comfort during specimen collection Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory techniques, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and hospital experience as needed for efficient workflow Experience Prior laboratory procedures experience or laboratory techniques familiarity preferred Clinical laboratory experience or hospital experience is highly desirable Proven ability in specimen collection/processing, venipuncture, blood sampling, and vital signs measurement Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and aseptic technique to ensure safe and effective patient care Experience working with diverse patient populations in fast-paced healthcare settings is a plus Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork in clinical environments Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and precise laboratory work.
