40 hours/week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Napa, CA. The Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and specimen collection in a Trauma Level I hospital environment , ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with laboratory standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills, compassion, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting. Requirements Minimum 1+ years of recent Phlebotomy experience Experience in a Trauma Level I facility Proficiency with Epic EMR (preferred, confirm with facility) Certifications & Licenses Active Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT or CPT I - California) Current BLS certification (AHA required) Responsibilities Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection accurately Label and process specimens according to laboratory protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and lab staff to support patient care Document procedures accurately in EMR systems Adhere to infection control and safety standards Work Environment Trauma Level I hospital setting Requires adaptability, precision, and the ability to manage high‑volume specimen collection Team‑oriented environment with interdisciplinary collaboration
