JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) is an entry-level position in clinical research. Working under the direction of a Clinical Research Coordinator, the CTA will assist in the collection of data for study protocols; this role includes document generation, control and data entry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with daily activities based on the urgency of requests for the Clinical Operations Team Identify patients and their personal information using their ID, documents or other means Collect, register and archive information and documents following the applicable GCP guidelines for clinical studies, both for local and international studies; Participate in projects or initiatives upon request or take on department-wide tasks to contribute to the optimization of processes within the department. Adhere to Research SOPs SOPs to Good Clinical Practice and Study Protocols Determine the right venipuncture method based on the patient's age, health, etc. Reassure patients and help them relax Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials and other equipment (must be licensed to draw blood) Ensure the optimal quality and quantity of samples Label samples correctly and send or deliver them for testing Answer patient questions and provide useful information, Kept accurate records of fluid specimens and tests Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working Participates in different processes for new sites and potential principal investigators Others required by the employer.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent

Phlebotomy license
Required:
Experience in the medical field for 1 + years
Preferred:
College Degree Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish Ability to use computers to enter information Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
