Phlebotomist Requirements :

MUST have at least 1 year of experience working as a Phlebotomist within an acute Hospital or clinical lab setting. Must have experience with a high volume of blood draws per day. MUST have experience with inpatient and outpatient Perform venipuncture and skin puncture and pre-analytical and post-analytical steps of laboratory testing Select the appropriate phlebotomy technique relative to the age and physical maturation of the patient Assesses the quality of blood to be drawn from the patient based on the patient's age, physical maturation and the test or study to be performed Properly labels sample(s) and transports to laboratory or Clinical Laboratory Scientist as required Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory levels of supplies and reagents All Shifts are available MUST be flexible to work weekends MUST have a CPT Certification BLS CPR required -
