Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday (25-30 hours per week) Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-time to possible Full-Time Phlebotomist / Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves performing blood collection and processing specimens, assisting with patient care, performing adjunctive therapies if needed and supporting administrative tasks and social media marketing within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory procedures, patient services, and medical terminology, with a strong focus on providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in advancing their healthcare career while contributing to quality patient services. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary punctures using proper aseptic techniques. Prepare and process laboratory specimens accurately for testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. On-job training available. Assist patients with specimen collection, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures clearly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols. Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments, answering phone, updating patient records, and managing paperwork when needed. Follow laboratory procedures and techniques to ensure specimen integrity and accurate test results. Adhere to infection control standards and safety guidelines at all times during patient interactions and specimen handling. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, ensuring privacy, and demonstrating professionalism. Administering StemWave and H-Wave under Doctor supervision Post social media content Qualifications Knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen processing is essential Proficiency in venipuncture (blood sampling), phlebotomy, and blood collection methods Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs measurement Experience with patient care activities including specimen collection and basic clinical tasks Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination or infection during procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)Pay:
