Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join the healthcare team The role involves drawing blood from patients for medical tests, donations, or research, ensuring proper specimen handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and skin punctures. Label and handle blood samples accurately. Maintain cleanliness and follow safety protocols. Ensure patient comfort and verify information.
Work Experience:
Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. •Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.•
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
REQUIRED
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you comfortable working on contract role without benefits? Do you have a CA state active phlebotomy license? How many years of phlebotomy experience do you have? (Minimum required: 6 months)
