Job Description

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Why This Role Matters This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic testing by safely collecting and handling specimens. As a key patient-facing professional, you help create a positive, trusting experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and confidentiality. What You'll Do Collect blood specimens using proper venipuncture techniques (including pediatric and geriatric patients) Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding procedures Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with accuracy and efficiency Support various locations as needed based on business demands What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections At least 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record (if applicable) Flexibility for travel, varied locations, and potential schedule adjustments Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Keyboard and data entry experience Ability to meet compliance requirements What's In it For You Competitive pay with consistent weekday schedule Opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment Gain experience across multiple settings and locations Build meaningful patient relationships and make a daily impact Develop and enhance clinical and customer service skills Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k)
