7:00 AM - 11:00 AM Job Summary The Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, interacting directly with patients to support their healthcare experience. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring accurate processing for laboratory testing while maintaining a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust and confidence with patients while adhering to strict compliance and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform blood collection (venipuncture and capillary) on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures. Ensure accuracy in patient identification, labeling, and data entry. Maintain required records, documentation, and specimen tracking logs. Provide clear and professional communication while explaining procedures to patients. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all compliance, confidentiality, and safety protocols. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection as required. Demonstrate organizational values and maintain a positive image with patients, clients, and team members. Operate independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and quality standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required) Keyboard/data entry skills (Required) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preffered. Minimum of 6 months experience Required. Phlebotomy certification (Required in
CA, NV, WA
; preferred in other locations) Medical Assistant or Paramedic training Experience in retail or service-based customer interaction Additional Requirements Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and confidentiality Key Competencies Patient-centered approach Accuracy and attention to detail Communication and interpersonal skills Time management and reliability Professionalism and integrity
