AM Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care in a safe and professional environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood draws and specimen collection following established procedures Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure patient confidentiality and safety standards Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills preferred Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA) Basic keyboard/data entry skills required Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed
