What You'll Do:
Travel to various patient locations, including clinics, nursing homes, or community sites, to perform safe, reliable blood draws for diverse populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Draw quality blood specimens following established safety and procedural protocols, maintaining a focus on accuracy and patient comfort. Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens, confirming patient identities with professionalism and attention to detail. Maintain detailed records of collections, document test requisitions, and ensure specimen integrity throughout the process. Create a trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly, answering patient questions, and demonstrating empathy to make each patient encounter positive. Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Collaborate with team members and supervisors, providing flexible coverage across multiple sites based on operational demands.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism. Excellent venipuncture skills, with the ability to perform blood draws efficiently across all age groups. Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Competency in data entry, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate documentation. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record are essential, as frequent site travel is required. Nice to

Medical assistant or paramedic training and certifications. Previous experience working in a Patient Service Center environment or mobile healthcare setting. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic preferred. 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, especially in diverse patient care settings.
Other Requirements:
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts to meet patient needs. Ability to travel between multiple locations, submitting mileage for reimbursement. Must possess own reliable transportation, with the ability to arrive on time at various sites daily. Physical stamina to perform blood draws, lift, and position patients as needed. Compliance with all organizational policies on safety, dress code, and confidentiality.
