Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Phlebotomist with IV experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform blood collection and specimen processing with precision and care, ensuring high-quality patient service and accurate laboratory results. Your expertise in venipuncture, IV insertions, and specimen handling will directly contribute to patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood sampling procedures using aseptic technique to ensure specimen integrity Insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines for blood draws or medication administration, demonstrating proficiency in IV techniques Collect, label, and process specimens accurately according to laboratory protocols Monitor patient vital signs and provide compassionate patient care throughout the collection process Maintain strict adherence to laboratory procedures, safety standards, and infection control protocols Document all procedures clearly in medical records, including patient information, test orders, and collection details Assist with specimen processing, storage, and transportation to ensure timely delivery to the laboratory for analysis Requirements Proven laboratory experience with a focus on phlebotomy and IV insertion techniques Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, clinical laboratory practices, and medical terminology Hands-on experience with venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing in a hospital or clinical setting Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and vital signs measurement to support safe procedures Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control standards to prevent contamination or infection risks Prior hospital experience is highly preferred; certification as a Phlebotomy Technician is required or highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team where your expertise in phlebotomy combined with IV skills will help us deliver exceptional patient care while advancing your professional growth. $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
