Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Job Description The Patient Services Representative III (PSR III - Floater) serves as the primary face of the organization for patients receiving routine or diagnostic care. This role is responsible for performing high-quality, accurate blood collection and specimen processing while ensuring a professional, safe, and supportive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling in the patient's presence Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with all protocols Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients to build trust and confidence Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume setting Adapt to staffing needs, including travel between multiple locations and flexible scheduling Work Expectations Work independently with minimal supervision Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate strong judgment and adherence to procedures Support multiple priorities and changing assignments as needed Represent the organization professionally to patients, staff, and the public Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) 3+ years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws) Experience in a patient service center preferred Strong customer service experience preferred Data entry/keyboard proficiency required Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states) Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Additional Requirements Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime as needed) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable) Ability to travel between sites with short notice Must follow all company policies, safety standards, and dress code
