Prepare and Check Supplies:
Ensure donor blood bags and supplies are ready to go.Collect Blood:
Perform collection procedures, including mini-physical exams and venipuncture. Care forDonors:
Provide post-donation care, from serving refreshments to assisting with any reactions.Promote Positivity:
Build great relationships with donors, recruiters, and colleagues.What We're Looking For:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:
Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience. One year in the medical field is a plus!Skills:
Basic clerical and computer skills, excellent communication, and customer service.Physical Ability:
Stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.Certifications:
Phlebotomy and CNA certifications are a plus. Perks of theJob:
