Phlebotomist

Actively Interviewing for Phlebotomist to join top diagnostic laboratory in Suwanee, GA! Job Summary We are seeking a Phlebotomist for a busy outpatient clinic. This role focuses on high‑volume blood draws, accurate specimen handling, and excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles. Fully understand and interpret physicians' orders. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders. Ensure accuracy by checking all test requisitions or computer labels against scripts. Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperatures. Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual department trainings. Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries. Requirements 3+ years of recent phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting - outpatient, primary care High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in customer service and specimen processing. Experience drawing blood on pediatric through geriatric patients Experience with 30+ patient draws per day. Schedule & Setting Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Outpatient clinical laboratory Additional Skills & Qualifications Fluency in Mandarin, or Chinese is a plus. Work Environment The position is based at a prominent healthcare client with six locations. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and involves coordination with three providers. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for longevity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suwanee, GA.
