Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

```Duties```

• Assist healthcare providers in patient care and treatment procedures
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Administer medications, including injections, as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
• Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or certification
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques, including inhalation
• Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
