Position Details:
Day Shift:
Mon-Fri (5am - 1:30pm) Providing excellent patient care while drawing lab specimens on inpatients & outpatients. Replenishing supplies, provides effective communication PCT experience (plus)
Experience:
2 or more years of Phlebotomy experience If you have experience in one of the below areas, you could be a great fit:
High School Diploma or GED (required) 2 or more years of Phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned. Responsibilities Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc. Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate. Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
