Part-Time / Assignment-Based (Flexible Hours)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist with EKG skills to join our team on a part-time or assignment basis. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, as-needed work while supporting patient care and clinical research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples following established protocols Process, label, and prepare specimens for shipment Conduct EKG/ECG tests accurately and efficiently Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Coordinate with clinical staff to support scheduled and unscheduled patient visits Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Qualifications:
Certification in Phlebotomy (required) Experience performing EKG/ECG procedures (required) Previous clinical or research experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to work independently and manage flexible assignments
Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible, assignment-based schedule (including occasional urgent or short-notice visits) Competitive hourly or per-visit rate (based on experience)
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with time-sensitive sample handling (e.g., coagulation studies) Familiarity with specimen shipping procedures (e.g., FedEx or courier services) Ability to respond quickly for scheduled or urgent patient visits
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
