Duties include performing blood collection procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and home care patients of all ages, including newborns and children.##This is at an off-site location (Wilbraham MA) and includes a rotation at the Holyoke Medical Center.#

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in the use of computers; reliable transportation; two years of hospital phlebotomy experience including registering patients, or completion of phlebotomy training at an approved school Applicants must have: A passion for caring for a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive for learning new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. The ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
