Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and specimen collection from patients in various locations, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to laboratory procedures. Your expertise in phlebotomy and laboratory techniques will be essential in providing accurate and timely results for diagnostic testing. Responsibilities Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients using proper venipuncture techniques. Ensure the safe handling, processing, and transportation of specimens to the laboratory. Maintain a high standard of patient service by providing compassionate care and addressing patient concerns. Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during specimen collection. Document all procedures accurately in accordance with clinical laboratory protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures relevant to phlebotomy. Skills Proficient in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and blood sampling. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and clinical laboratory experience. Knowledge of medical terminology related to patient care and specimen processing. Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively during specimen collection. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care. Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to blood collection sites. Experience in monitoring vital signs and understanding physiological responses.
