Phlebotomist Baltimore, MD Pay From:
$18 per hour
MUST:
Must have 3 plus years of experience as a Phlebotomist Must hold a current Phlebotomy Certification Must have experience processing labs Must have EMR experience Must be comfortable working in a high volume clinic Experience working with pediatric patient to adults is highly preferred Enter lab work into computer software
DUTIES:
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Collect blood samples from patients Practice proper patient identification, especially when working on hospital floors Label vials with patient names and dates Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient Centrifuge blood samples Keep phlebotomy cart or station well-organized at all times Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
