Supervisor Outpatient Phlebotomy - Full-time with Benefits

The Phlebotomy Supervisor monitors all Pre-analytical activities performed in Frederick Health facilities. In compliance with CLIA regulations, the Supervisor oversees all phlebotomy procedures to assure they meet prescribed standards. This position performs functional duties in the Pre-Analytic and Analytic (i.e. - bleeding time) phases in the Laboratory Path of Workflow. Complies with the CLIA standards listed as responsibilities for high complexity general supervisors under 42CFR493.1463.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry preferred.
• Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with site policy for new hires. For incumbents, must be obtained by November 1, 2015. Certification from approved phlebotomy program preferred.
• As required by site location, current, valid driver's license and car insurance required.
• Five years of phlebotomy experience required.

If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.

$55,036.80-$78,624

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm with occasional weekends. High School or better. Associates or better.
